this is home

it took time to get here. we wandered together up favorite dunes into tastee deelights, and around that bend in bogata. pizer's subjunctive enters sometimes without sounds: what would it be like to rest banged up knees and swollen feelings, even if just for a moment?

in the end, we went to Charlevoix

these were steps ahead of me: bearing down for the winter, gritty, and ready.

the angel you take with you

in von you decide that perhaps heaven isn't that easy after all. when you see this sign your belly wells up with nervousness; the summer had been long and it seemed that if i didn't follow this direction at least for the remainder, i might never wind up at home again.

the day we went to the ballpark

at keyspan coney island the sun went down over the ocean after we left the ballfield - this happened in august. today it is late september and the weather is balmy and great, perhaps for the last time of the season. thoughts are eeking their way toward the next season, and how it will form itself around usual patterns and alterations from what is presupposed. i am liking the second leashed lap around fort greene park, the squirrel hunts, and how they make ingrid placid now, on the black and red floor.
