while i got my hair cut lanie took this picture of a casa viequense on her walk. she came in to the barbershop where we were talking about connecting vieques to the mainland with a bridge. "the old people are against it," said the barbero, "me, i want a bridge."

I can only imagine how beautiful it would be to be driving across that bridge at sunset...then again that's probably the worst idea I ever heard. Luckily, the odds of such a bridge being constructed are about a million to one (i'm guesstimating). how was the haircut?
